Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up the believers in Plateau state, Nigeria, where violence has once again claimed lives and left others wounded. You see their suffering and hold their tears in Your bottle. Comfort those who mourn the loss of loved ones and heal those still bearing wounds from this attack. Guard the hearts of Your people against despair, and strengthen them with courage to stand firm in their faith. Reveal Jesus to their attackers and those watching, that even amidst tragedy, new life might spring forth through His name. Restrain the hands of violence in Nigeria, that peace might take root where hostility once reigned. You who give beauty for ashes, be with Your Church in these days. We trust You to work for Your glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
