God of Justice and Deliverance, we lift up the people of Kaduna and the surrounding regions in Nigeria's Middle Belt, where kidnapping and violence have taken such a heavy toll. Your eyes see the suffering of the innocent and the anguish of families torn apart. Rise up, O Lord, and be a stronghold for those in distress, delivering them from the hand of the oppressor. Bring healing to the injured, and comfort to the grieving. Confound the plans of those who perpetrate violence, and reveal Jesus to both the captors and those held captive. May Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your peace flow like a river throughout these troubled lands. For the sake of Your name, let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. Amen.
