Pray with the global church

God of Grace, we lift up the Christian families in Punjab, Pakistan, who have fled their homes in fear after a mob attack. You know every fear that grips them and every hope they carry for safety. In a land fraught with hostility and accusation, be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Guard the hearts of those falsely accused and reveal Jesus to those who cry out for justice. Let Your peace fall like rain upon this village, calming the storms of anger and prejudice. Call forth the believers to stand firm in Your truth, and break through the hard hearts of persecutors with the light of Christ's love. For Your glory and kingdom we ask these things. Amen.
