God of all Comfort, we lift up the church in Somaliland, mourning the loss of Sharif Ali who gave his life for faith in Your Son. You have counted the cost, and not one tear falls without Your notice. May the witness of Sharif's life and death draw many in Somaliland to the saving knowledge of Jesus. Uphold his family with Your unfailing love, and let Your Spirit comfort them in their grief. Protect the believers in Somaliland from fear and strengthen them to stand firm in their faith. Reveal Jesus to those who plotted against him, and let Your light shine in the darkest hearts. May Your Kingdom come with power and mercy across this land, for Your glory and the salvation of many.
