Pray with the global church

Living God, we lift up the believers in northern Mozambique where following Christ comes at great cost. Strengthen those who, despite danger, bear witness to Your name with faith and courage. You declare that Your eyes roam throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to You — be their strength in this perilous region. Restrain the violence of insurgents and those set against Your people, and open their eyes to see Jesus as the way of peace and truth. Let the light of the Gospel shine brightly through those who stand firm, that many more might find life in Him. We trust in Your sustaining power and seek Your protection over these faithful witnesses for the glory of Your name. In the name of Jesus, our Refuge, Amen.
