Pray with the global church

Everlasting God, we cry out for Karak in Jordan, where grief has struck Your people as they mourn the loss of nine believers killed at a funeral. Look upon those who are wounded and recovering, and be their comfort in this dark valley. Sustain the Christians of Jordan with Your unfailing love and courage in the face of hostility. Turn the hearts of those who persecute toward mercy, for You alone have power to change hard hearts into hearts that seek peace. Reveal Jesus to the attackers and all who witness this violence, that even in sorrow, Your name might be exalted. We entrust these souls into Your hands — where no one can snatch them away — trusting in Your promise to never leave nor forsake. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
