Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we bring before You the grieving families and communities of Oromia, where over sixty Ethiopian Orthodox Christians have been taken by violence. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those crushed in spirit — wrap them in Your peace and presence. Sustain the church in Ethiopia as she mourns, emboldening her leaders to speak truth with wisdom and compassion. We ask that You turn the hearts of those who plot evil and that Your justice would prevail against their schemes. Reveal Jesus to officials, to the attackers, and to all who dwell in this land. Let Your light break through the shadows. May Your Kingdom come in Ethiopia, for Yours is the power and glory. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
