God of all Comfort, we lift up the grieving hearts in Ethiopia where the Arsema Monastery in South Wollo was struck amid worship. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those crushed in spirit. Comfort the families and communities mourning the loss of clergy and worshippers, and let Your presence be a refuge in their sorrow. Reveal Jesus to those who orchestrate and execute violence, that they might see and turn to Your ways of peace. Establish a spirit of reconciliation in this region and strengthen the faith of believers who continue to trust in Your promises. Let the light of Christ shine brightly through their witness, drawing many to know Your love and truth. We entrust Ethiopia to Your unfailing care, for Your name's sake. Amen.
