Pray with the global church

God of Truth, we lift before You the imprisoned believers of Egypt, where faith in Christ is treated as a threat to national security. You see Said Abdelrazek, Augustinos Samaan, and Romany Gharib Adly Azer enduring unjust detentions for their commitment to Your name. Guard them with Your peace, which surpasses understanding, even within prison walls. Let righteousness rain down upon Egypt like a mighty river — break open doors for religious freedom and dismantle accusations wielded against Your people. Reveal Jesus to those enforcing these laws; may they encounter the One whose kingdom is not of this world. Awaken a hunger for truth among the authorities and communities in Egypt. Let the light of Christ shine in every darkened place, overcoming all opposition. We entrust these believers to You, our faithful Shepherd and Redeemer. Amen.
