Pray with the global church

Holy One, we lift up the community in Sebarbay, grieving the loss of Milad Malak. In this dark hour, be their comfort and strength. Let not his labor as a deacon be forgotten but inspire many to seek Your kingdom with fervor. Guard the church that gathers under threat, and let not fear overtake them. Bring peace to those who mourn, and reveal Yourself as the resurrection and the life, even where death has tried to hold sway. Encounter those who persecute Your people as You did Saul, transforming hatred into faith. For Your glory alone and the advance of Your gospel in Egypt we pray. Amen.
