Pray with the global church

Lord of Hosts, we lift before You the Coptic church in Minya, where believers endured an attack as they gathered to worship. You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble — let these truths anchor their hearts and minds amidst fear and uncertainty. Stand near to these believers, and be their shield and fortress as hostility surrounds them. Open the eyes of the persecutors and reveal to them the light of Your salvation. Let the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Minya. Strengthen Your Church in Egypt, that they may shine as a light in the darkness. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our Refuge and our Peace. Amen.
