Pray with the global church

Lord of Hosts, as churches across the world prepare to observe the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, we turn to You with expectant hearts. Strengthen Your people under persecution that they might be steadfast, knowing that their present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory to come. Let their endurance be a beacon, and may it testify to Your unfailing love before all who watch. Reveal Jesus to those who oppress them, turning hearts like streams of water toward truth and grace. Fill believers with boldness to speak Your Word amidst opposition, and open doors for the Gospel in places where it has been shut. For the sake of Your name and in the power of Christ we pray. Amen.
