Pray with the global church

Savior, we lift up the people of eastern DRC and Kenya as they face the spread of Ebola. Thank You for the healing You purchased with Your blood, by which You have made a way for us to be whole. We plead the blood of Jesus over these lands and ask You to halt this disease in its tracks. Reveal Jesus as the Great Physician in every hospital, clinic, and home where fear has taken root. Strengthen healthcare workers standing on the front lines, and sustain them with wisdom and endurance. For those mourning loss, surround them with Your comfort and hope. Bring redemption out of this crisis. Let many see Your mercy in these hard places and turn their hearts toward You. In Jesus’ name we trust and pray. Amen.
