Pray with the global church

Great Healer, we bring before You the Democratic Republic of Congo in this dire time. This Ebola outbreak has claimed thousands, and communities are overwhelmed with grief and fear. You bore our sorrows and by Your wounds we are healed — stretch forth Your healing hand over this land, bringing life where death has ruled. Guard the health workers laboring in danger, and sustain them with strength to meet every need. Soften hearts resistant to care and break through distrust that keeps help at bay. Let leaders choose wisdom over neglect, seeking the good of their people rather than political gain. Reveal Jesus as hope and salvation to those who feel abandoned, turning hearts toward trust in You alone. We ask it for Your glory and through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
