Pray with the global church

God of Truth, we lift up the Early Rain Church in Chengdu, facing accusations for gathering in a tea-house. You see the unjust charges against Your people and hear their cries. Establish their faith that they may speak Your truth with courage and grace, even in the face of opposition. Shield these believers from fear, and let Your peace rule in their hearts. Turn the hearts of authorities towards righteousness, and reveal Jesus to those who persecute them, opening eyes blinded by hostility. Let the witness of the Early Rain Church testify to Your eternal kingdom, that many might come to know the freedom found in Christ. You guide us with counsel and receive us into glory; hold this congregation close until justice shines like the noonday sun. We entrust this prayer to You, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
