Pray with the global church

God of Peace, we lift up the communities in Adamawa facing the imminent threat of violence from Boko Haram fighters. You've promised to be a refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble—be that shield for the people of Hong LGA. Dismantle the schemes of those who seek harm, and make their plans falter before they can bring destruction. Reveal Jesus to the fighters and officials alike, showing them Your light that shines even in deep darkness. Strengthen the believers across Adamawa; let their faith stand strong and unshaken despite fear. We ask for Your justice to break through and for peace to settle where turmoil threatens. In the name of Jesus, our peace and our shield, Amen.
