Holy One, we lift before You the faithful witness who endures loss for the sake of Christ in this year's International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted. When family turns away, You remain — and even if father and mother forsake, You take him up. Open the eyes of his heart to know the hope of Your calling amidst this trial, that he may stand firm in Christ's love, which he knows by laying down his life. Sustain him as he shares the Gospel boldly with those who do not yet see. Meet his persecutors as You met Saul on the road, transforming hearts and revealing Jesus to them. May Your Good News grow richly in his land through his steadfast testimony. In Christ's name we pray, Amen.
