Faithful Shepherd, we lift up the pastor of Beijing Zion Church and his family, standing under pressure and facing manipulation by authorities. In Your mercy, sustain him as he bears the weight of this trial, and let integrity strengthen his heart as a shield. You have promised that the darkness will not overcome the light — shine Your truth through the shadows cast upon him and his children. Reveal Jesus to those who have sought to coerce and intimidate, and let the light of Your Gospel shine into the corridors of power in Beijing. Guard the believers of Zion Church with Your peace, and let their witness remain steadfast in the face of such trials. We trust in Your steadfast love and ask this through Jesus our Lord. Amen.
