Pray with the global church

Holy One, we bring before You the desecration of sacred spaces in Madrid, where the Church of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque has been violated. You are the God who dwells in holiness, and Your house is a place of prayer for all nations. Restore dignity to Your sanctuary, and let Your peace guard the hearts of those who worship there. Reveal Jesus to those who perpetrated this violence and to the wider community that witnesses it. Let the love of Christ be manifest in the response of Your people, showing that light overcomes darkness. Strengthen the church in Spain to stand firm in grace and truth, and let Your presence be a refuge and strength for all who seek You. For the glory of Your holy name, we ask these things, in the name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.
