Pray with the global church

God of Truth, we lift up Pastor Alexis Padrón and the believers in Cuba who face opposition for standing firm in crisis. As power outages darken cities and hearts are tested, keep their light shining brightly for all to see. Strengthen Pastor Alexis as he faces prosecution, and give him grace to speak words full of wisdom and courage. Reveal Jesus to the authorities and communities around him, that even those who oppose him might encounter Your love. Let the Good News move freely despite restrictions, and may Your Spirit embolden all who call on Your name in Cuba. In the midst of trials, may they rejoice, knowing You will never leave nor forsake them. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our faithful Redeemer. Amen.
