Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we bring before You the imprisoned Afro-Cuban activists and religious leaders in Cuba. In the midst of their suffering and illness, sustain them with Your mighty hand and make Your presence known in their darkest hour. Deliver Loreto Hernández García and Donaida Pérez Paseiro from unjust imprisonment, for You are a refuge for the oppressed. Reveal Jesus to those who hold power over them, transforming hearts that they may see Your light in the face of these captives. Let justice roll down like waters across Cuba, flowing through every cell block and courtroom. In Jesus’ name, our Advocate and Liberator. Amen.
