Holy One, we lift up Rumbek in the midst of its turmoil and pain, where violence between communities has struck fear into daily life. You know each heart and each story, and You call Your Church to stand as a city on a hill. Awaken the churches in South Sudan by Your Spirit; let them be of one heart and soul, bearing witness to Christ's love. Restrain the hands eager for violence, and turn fear into peace through Your presence. Reveal Jesus to those caught in cycles of conflict, and guide believers as they share His love across dividing lines. To You alone belong wisdom, grace, and power forevermore, in the name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.
