Pray with the global church

Lord of Hosts, we lift up the believers in Colombia as they mourn the loss of a pastor who gave his life to bring the light of Christ into darkness. As his blood cries out from the ground, remember Your promise to be close to the brokenhearted and save those crushed in spirit. Guard his family and community with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Reveal Jesus to those who participated in this act, and turn hearts that are set on violence toward repentance and redemption. Let the Gospel continue to shine in Colombia, stirring hope in every corner afflicted by fear and death. Strengthen Your Church to bear witness with courage and grace. For Your name's sake we pray. Amen.
