Pray with the global church

Lord God, we lift up the congregation in Omdurman who are facing the possible destruction of their church building. You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Guard this place where Your people gather to worship and glorify Your name. We ask that You make a way through bureaucratic barriers as You have done before, and let Your justice shine like the noonday sun. Reveal Jesus to those officials who stand against Your Church and touch their hearts with truth. Encourage believers in Omdurman with the knowledge that wherever two or three are gathered, there You are among them. Pour out Your Spirit upon Sudan, bringing peace where hostility seeks to sow division. We trust in Your mighty hand to protect and establish Your Church. In the name of Jesus, our cornerstone and foundation. Amen.
