God of Justice and Deliverance, we lift up Suleiman Khalil, the former mayor held without charge in Syria. You are the One who sees the plight of the oppressed and hears the cries of the captives. Establish Your justice in this situation and set Suleiman free, for You have said that You care for the prisoner and set the oppressed free. Strengthen the believers in Syria who stand firm despite persecution, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds. Reveal Jesus to those who hold power, that they may act with integrity and mercy. Let Your truth shine brightly in this place, breaking through the darkness. We trust in Your righteousness and ask for Your will to be done. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
