Pray with the global church

God of Mercy, we lift up the believers and other religious minorities in Syria facing renewed violence. You see those targeted and living in fear, and You are their refuge. Hold them close, strengthen their hearts, and let Your peace guard them amidst these trials. You said that all who enter by You will be saved — make Jesus known to both the persecuted and the persecutors in this land. Let Your name be lifted high across Syria as a banner of hope and salvation. Pour out courage on Your people, that they may stand firm in faith amid adversity. We entrust Syria to Your powerful love, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
