Pray with the global church

God of Truth and Unity, we lift up Nigeria in this time of tension and division. Your Word declares that You desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Establish peace and understanding among all communities in Nigeria, and guard the hearts of the believers against fear and discouragement. Reveal Jesus, the Prince of Peace, to those who speak words of division, and let them encounter the One who breaks down every dividing wall of hostility. Strengthen the Church in Nigeria to stand firm in love and truth, and let Your Gospel of peace shine brightly in this land. For Your glory and the hope of reconciliation, we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
