Almighty God, we lift up the believers in Shanghai facing increasing restrictions on their worship. You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Guard these faithful ones with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let their hearts not be troubled or afraid. Reveal Jesus to those who impose these restrictions, that they may encounter the light of Your truth and be drawn to His mercy. Strengthen the resolve of Your Church in Shanghai to stand firm, knowing that neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate them from Your love. Let the Gospel flourish in the shadows, and may Your name be glorified as Your kingdom comes in Shanghai. Amen.
