Pray with the global church

Shepherd, we lift up Your daughter in Somalia who suffers under the weight of confinement and abuse for her faith in Christ. You see her affliction, and Your heart is with the oppressed. Sustain her spirit and give her the strength that no earthly power can diminish, and let Your love surround her in the darkest moments. Reveal Jesus to those who oppose her — even to her uncle — that they might come to know the forgiveness and life found in Him alone. Scatter any plans to harm, and open doors for believers in Somalia to proclaim Your Word boldly. May Your kingdom come across this land, where many walk in shadows longing for light. In Christ’s name, Amen.
