Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up the people of Lume village in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, as they witness the terror and hope bound together in Katungu Mbaka Darke's abduction and rescue. Thank You for being near to her and for delivering her from the hands of evil men who schemed against her life. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses understanding, healing the wounds left by captivity. Reveal Jesus to those who orchestrate such violence, stopping them on their paths and turning them toward Your ways. Strengthen believers across this region, that they may walk confidently as children of light in a land scarred by shadows. Let Your Kingdom come in Lume, and let freedom echo where captivity tried to bind. In the name of Jesus, our Deliverer, Amen.
