God of Refuge and Strength, we lift up the Nuba Mountains of Sudan where Your people face killings and abductions amid ongoing conflict. You are a fortress for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Establish peace in South Kordofan, and shield the believers from harm as they gather in Your name. Strengthen the church leaders and congregations with courage and hope that defy fear. Reveal Jesus to those who perpetuate violence, that they may lay down their weapons and seek reconciliation. Let justice roll on like a river, transforming hearts and communities. For the sake of Your name and the witness of Your people, we entrust Sudan to Your care, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
