God of Mercy, we hold up Sheikhupura, where violence has left a young believer wounded and communities gripped by fear. You see the blood of the innocent and hear their cries for help. Let Your healing hand rest on this teenager; restore him to full health as a sign of Your nearness. Guard the church in Sheikhupura from further harm, and speak peace into hearts overwhelmed by terror. Reveal Jesus to those who persecute His followers — transform their hearts by the light of Christ. Sustain Your people with courage and let hope spring in dark places.
