Pray with the global church

God of the Fatherless, we lift up the children and staff of the Christian school near Kenya’s largest dumpsite, who have been forced from their place of learning and safety. You are the refuge of the oppressed and the stronghold in times of trouble. Establish a new shelter for these young ones, that they might be taught in peace and find hope in Your promises. Scatter the darkness that drives them back to the dumpsite, and reveal Jesus to the local authorities and community, that their hearts may turn towards justice and mercy. Sustain the teachers and caregivers who labor in Your name, and let their faith shine brightly amidst hardship. We ask this trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
