Pray with the global church

God of Mercy, we lift up the Christian community in northern Israel, where a prayer hall has been desecrated and symbols of faith destroyed. As this Lebanese priest extends forgiveness to those who vandalized his community’s sacred space, let his act of grace be a seed for peace and reconciliation across the region. Reveal Jesus to those who act in violence or misunderstanding, drawing them to Your truth. Strengthen believers who gather amidst threat and hostility, and let their forgiveness testify to Your Spirit working in them. Build up the church in this place, that it may stand firm as a city on a hill. To You belong wisdom and dominion through Christ our Lord. Amen.
