Pray with the global church

Holy God, we bring before You the situation in Nigeria where a Christian mother has been sentenced for her witness. We know that persecution often comes when Your truth is proclaimed, and in this place, the darkness is trying to overcome the light. Sustain her with Your peace that surpasses understanding and fortify her with a spirit not of fear but of power. Open the eyes of those who persecute to see Jesus, the true Light of the world, and turn them from darkness to light. Protect believers in Nigeria as they endure trials for Your name's sake. Let justice roll down like waters across this nation. Reveal Your kingdom openly in Nigeria through these trials. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
