Living God, we lift up Lahore where a Christian man now faces the storm of blasphemy accusations, and we see how these laws weigh heavily on hearts already carrying fear. You are near to the brokenhearted and save those crushed in spirit; draw near to him and his family in their distress. Establish Your justice in this place where it has so often been clouded by falsehood. Guard believers across Pakistan, sustain them with Your courage and comfort when they face persecution. Restrain those who use these laws to sow fear, and reveal Jesus as the true Advocate for both accused and accusers alike. Let Your peace rule where fear has tried to reign. In the name of Jesus, our refuge and strength. Amen.
