God our Protector, shield and strong tower, we intercede for the Christian farmers of Plateau State who fear returning to their fields after violence has claimed 27 lives. Be their refuge and fortress, a present help in times of trouble. Uphold them with Your righteous right hand and let fear not prevail over their hearts. Restrain the hands that would bring harm, and reveal Jesus to those who persecute, that their hearts may turn from violence to peace. Let Your justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream across these lands. Strengthen the believers of Irigwe, that they may stand firm and continue to witness Your love and truth. For Your name's sake, bring healing and restoration to this region. In Jesus' name, Amen.
