Pray with the global church

God of Justice and Defender of the Oppressed, we lift up the Christian farmers of Nigeria's Middle Belt, who face the loss of their ancestral lands. You are the one who gives the land and sets the boundaries of the nations; remember these families as they seek to return to their homes. Establish Your justice in this land and restrain those who would seize what is not theirs. Sustain the faith and courage of the displaced, and let them find refuge and strength in Your unchanging promises. Reveal Jesus to those who have been blinded by hostility, that they might see the beauty of reconciliation. Guard the hearts of the believers in Nigeria, that they may trust in Your justice and provision. We ask this for the glory of Your name and the increase of Your kingdom. Amen.
