Pray with the global church

God of Truth, we lift up the people of Egypt, where speaking Your truth has become a cause for arrest. You see the heart of the Coptic believer detained in Alexandria, and You know every word he has spoken. May Your Spirit sustain him, guarding his heart and mind with Your peace. Reveal Jesus to Egyptian authorities, that they might encounter the One who is the way, the truth, and the life. Let Your Gospel advance in every classroom and household across Egypt despite opposition. Strengthen the church there to stand firm and speak with wisdom even when facing false accusation. Let righteousness spring up before all nations, including those now resisting Your name, so they might come to know the fullness of Christ's love. For Yours is the power and glory forever. Amen.
