Pray with the global church

Lord of Hosts, we thank You for the release of Ma Tao in Anhui Province, and we remember before You the two pastors who remain imprisoned. You gather the outcasts of Israel and restore those bruised by injustice. Strengthen these imprisoned leaders as they wait upon Your deliverance, and sustain their families who yearn for reunion. Let the truth of Christ shine brightly in Chinese house churches, filling those places with Your presence. Meet those who stand against Your work — may they find themselves unexpectedly confronted by Jesus, just as Saul was on his way to Damascus. Keep believers steadfast in hope as they face opposition, and let them not grow weary in doing good. For the glory of Your name and through Christ our Lord, we pray. Amen.
