Pray with the global church

Father, You are the defender of the oppressed and the liberator of the captives. We lift up Pastor John Cao, who suffers under unjust restrictions. Release him, Father, and let Your justice prevail in his situation. As Psalm 82:3-4 instructs, "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." We ask You to intervene powerfully for Your servant, dismantling the chains of injustice that bind him. Reveal Your truth in this situation, that those who witness may see Your righteousness and mercy. May Pastor Cao's endurance become a testimony of Your sustaining power, drawing those who do not know You into the light of Christ (1 Peter 2:12). In Jesus' name, amen.
