Pray with the global church

King of Heaven, we bring before You the church in central China facing harsh directives to replace their hymns with songs glorifying human power. Remind Your people that every knee will bow and every tongue confess Jesus as Lord. Strengthen these believers to hold firmly to the word of life, even when under scrutiny and pressure. Make the light of Your truth shine brightly in dark places, and confound those who seek to extinguish it. Let these attempts at control falter as You reveal Your Kingdom in places where it's least expected. Open eyes among authorities, neighbors, and young officials so they may encounter Jesus for themselves. For the glory of Your eternal kingdom and the name of Jesus, our Savior, Amen.
