God of All Comfort, we thank You for the release of Fu Xuanjuan from prison in China, bringing her back to her family with joy and hope. We praise You for Your mercies which are new every morning, even when darkness seems unbroken. Strengthen Fu Xuanjuan and her family as they adjust to life together again, and let them be firmly rooted in Your love. Sustain the believers in China who continue to face threats and imprisonment — may they find refuge under Your wings. Reveal Jesus to those who watched or played a part in her imprisonment; let hearts softened by grace turn towards You. Establish Your kingdom throughout China until justice flows like a river. We ask this for the sake of Your great name, Amen.
