Pray with the global church

King of Heaven, we bring before You the believers in Beijing, where Your shepherds have been detained amid a crackdown on house churches. You have declared Your people as the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Sustain their courage under this pressure, and let their light shine ever brighter despite attempts to extinguish it. Reveal Jesus to the authorities who oppose them, interrupting their plans and turning their hearts towards truth. Guard these church leaders in custody and grant wisdom to those still shepherding Your flock. Pour out Your Spirit upon these gatherings that they may continue to be cities set on a hill, bearing witness to Your kingdom's unshakeable hope. We entrust this situation into Your hands, for Yours is the power and glory now and forever. Amen.
