Pray with the global church

Shepherd, we praise You for the release of Fr. John Inalegwu Otache in Nigeria’s Benue State. Your hand was with him even in captivity, and now he is set free. Strengthen his heart as he returns to his community, and let his testimony bear witness to Your enduring presence. Guard the believers in Otukpo, especially those living under threat of violence. Deliver them from fear, and establish peace in their midst. Reveal Jesus to the abductors and those who orchestrate these acts; open their eyes to the One who came to save and not to destroy. For Your name’s sake and the advancement of Your kingdom, amen.
