Pray with the global church

God of Justice and Comfort, we lift up the Catholic Diocese of Zaria as they mourn the loss of two lives and bear the weight of an abduction. You see the tears of the grieving and hear the cries of the afflicted. In a land troubled by banditry, we ask You to establish peace and righteousness. Strengthen the faithful in Zaria, that they may not grow weary in doing good. Reveal Jesus to those who perpetrate violence, that they might turn from darkness to light. Guard the hearts of the church in Nigeria, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, reign in their midst. For the sake of Your name, bring healing and hope to this community. Amen.
