Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we remember Cardinal Simoni and his testimony of unwavering faith amidst persecution in Albania. As he faced death yet remained steadfast, You were his refuge and stronghold. Sustain the church in Albania as they stand firm, and embolden them to declare Your truth in every season. Reveal Jesus to the leaders and authorities across Albania, that they may recognize His lordship and be transformed by His love. Let the light of Christ shine through Your people, even to those who oppose them. Stir up your church in Albania to love and good works, and let justice flow like a mighty river throughout the land. For Your name is a strong tower, a place of refuge for all who call on You. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
