Pray with the global church

God of All Comfort, we lift up Pastor John Cao in the midst of his cancer diagnosis. You have been his steadfast rock through years of imprisonment, and now in this new trial, sustain him with Your presence. Let him not be shaken, but strengthened by Your Spirit, even as his body battles illness. Reveal Jesus to those who have imprisoned him and to the medical teams caring for him. Let this be a moment where Your glory is made known, where many come to faith through the witness of his endurance and peace. Guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let the peace that surpasses all understanding uphold him. We commit Pastor Cao to Your merciful care, trusting in Your unfailing love. Amen.
