God of Truth and Light, we lift up the nation of Canada as new policies seek to silence the mention of Your name among military chaplains. Even as earthly rulers try to obscure Your light, we confess that darkness will never overcome it. Reveal Jesus to government officials who seek to blind others to the truth, for He is the One who restores sight to the blind. Guard the hearts of believers serving in these challenging contexts, and let their lives testify to the hope that does not disappoint. Open the eyes of those who govern and those who serve, that they may see Your glory and know Your peace. For the honor of Your name, let truth prevail in the halls of power and the hearts of the people. Amen.
