Pray with the global church

God of Compassion and Deliverance, we lift up the children abducted from Borno State and their families who wait in anguish. You see the darkness that seeks to devour, yet You promise to be a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Rescue these children from captivity, and let their captors encounter Your light that dispels all darkness. Strengthen the parents and communities in their yearning for justice, and reveal Jesus to those lost in the shadows of violence. Guard the hearts of these children, enfold them with Your peace, and guide their steps to freedom. You alone are mighty to save, and in Your name we trust for their deliverance. Amen.
